Moving Together have been incredibly fortunate to have had many overseas opportunities to teach, learn and share through community dance activity.
Manav sadhna/DMu global
Since January 2017, Moving Together have visited Ahmedabad in India regularly to deliver practical dance sessions to the communities of Manav Sadhna. Our staff have developed long-lasting relationships with leaders and participants providing opportunities to experience and access workshops in different dance styles, create and showcase routines, and to take part in a cultural sharing of expertise.
These opportunities have been supported by our partnership with De Montfort University's DMU Local and DMU Global schemes. We have led a group of DMU students on every trip to Ahmedabad, cultivating their skills and confidence in community delivery and facilitation.
