Arts Award

We specialise in delivering all 5 levels of Arts Award and do so currently in a number of different school and community settings. We are a leading provider of the Arts Award and have been awarded the status of a Good Practice Centre in 2013-2014 and Trinity Champion Centre for 2023/24.

All Moving Together Arts Award programmes provide a chance for participants to engage directly with dance and the wider arts, taking part in practical activity to develop skills, learning about artists and their work, and increasing leadership abilities through teaching opportunities.

Youth

We offer Discover in a Day opportunities for Primary Schools that can be delivered to large groups of pupils across a variety of curriculum-based or stylised themes. Discover is also a very accessible, interactive exploratory framework, perfect as a 1 year programme for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Our Explore programmes are often offered to Primary School participants as an after-school activity. Dependant on class size and ability, this can be delivered over a minimum of 1 term and a maximum of 1 year.  As an entry level qualification, Explore is particularly adaptable, engaging and beneficial for students with mild to moderate learning difficulties as a 1 year programme.

Our Bronze, Silver and Gold programmes are embedded within schools as extra-curricular activity or internally as part of arts/PE provision at both mainstream and SEND institutions.

Our core Arts Award participation project is our ExploreBronze, Silver and Gold programme for young people aged 11-18 at De Montfort University, accessible through their outreach provision. This project gives students a holistic experience of both theoretical and practical work, inclusive of numerous performance opportunities and theatre events. Working alongside DMU provides this project with the use of incredible facilities every Wednesday evening, the opportunity for guest arts practitioners and the support for University students undertaking placements to volunteer on the DMU Arts Award project.

We open applications for this opportunity every Summer, ready for a September start. Want to know more information? Please get in touch
